Thermaly Insulated GRP Housings
Thermal insulation can refer to materials used to reduce the rate of heat transfer, or the methods and processes used to reduce heat transfer. Heat energy can be transferred by conduction, convection, radiation or by actual movement of material from one location to another. To this end Kingsley Plastics have designed & manufactured a complete range of GRP products for use in every day situations.
Maintaining acceptable temperatures in GRP Housings or in buildings in general (by heating and cooling) uses an extremely large proportion of energy consumption throughout the world in order to power ancillery items such as heating & air conditioning . When well insulated, usually with fiberglass insulation, a Kingsley building provides:
- Complete energy-efficient, thus saving the operators time & money.
- Provides total uniform temperatures throughout the space. There is less temperature gradient both vertically (between ankle height and head height) and horizontally from exterior walls, ceilings and windows to the interior walls, thus producing a more controllable working environment when outside temperatures are extremely cold or hot.
- Zero maintanance costs. Unlike heating and cooling equipment, insulation is permanent and does not require maintenance, upkeep, or adjustment and once manufactured within the housing, has no future costs at all.
- External finishes include Anti-Vandal, Smooth Moulded and Simulated Brick & Stone finishes to name but a few.

Many forms of thermal insulations also absorb noise and vibration, both coming from the external of the housing or from other rooms/buildings within the localised area, thus producing a more comfortable & controllable environment. From a simple telephone conversation or electronic mail, Kingsley will not only manufacture a quality, affordable product that will last for decades, but will also take the time to design a product that meets your every need.
