GRP Fences & Fencing Posts
Kingsley have, for a number of years, supplied GRP Fence panels to the Telecom, Gas & Electrical Industries in order to insulate not only the equipment they're surrounding, but to protect employees and wider personell from electricification from powered equipment.
Kingsley's Fencing offer excellent non conductive properties and can be used in standard areas as an alternative to metal or case sensitive areas were metal is unacceptable. The profiles are made from glass reinforced isophthalic polyester resin with a polyester surface veil. This combination gives excellent corrosion resistance and weatherability at an economic cost
GRP Grating
GRP grating provides users with a valuable combination of corrosion resistance, light weight, toughness and ease of installation that cannot be matched by more traditional materials. Competitive pricing enables GRP grating to compete directly with galvanised steel and aluminium grating in many applications. There are three types available from stock with others available to order.
GRP Open-Mesh Moulded Grating
GRP open mesh moulded grating is available in a number of different panel sizes at 25, 38 and 50mm thick, all with the option of a gritted slip resistant top surface. The grating is easy to cut to shape making for fast installation even in complex layouts.
All the gratings are fire retardant to ASTM E 84

GRP Solid Top Grating
A solid grp sheet is bonded to the grp open mesh moulded GRP grating during the manufacture process. The top surface can have different degrees of slip resistance to suit the service requirements..
GRP Anti-Slip Flat Sheet And Stair Tread Covers
There are many occasions where a floor or decking needs a durable anti-slip surface. Bonding a grp slip resistant sheet to the floor is a quick, effective and cost effective solution. GRP sheet and stair treads with grit anti-slip surface are available from stock. Other levels of slip resistance can be provided to order including a chequer plate moulded surface.

Technical data
Both the moulded and pultruded gratings comply with the requirements of BS 4592 (Part 4 for pultruded and Part 6 for moulded).
GRP Pultruded Structural Profiles
Kingsley Plastics supplies an extensive range of glass fibre reinforced structural profiles from stock.
The GRP profile sections are made from glass reinforced isophthalic polyester resin with a polyester surface veil. This combination gives excellent corrosion resistance and weatherability at an economic cost. Profiles in other resin systems are available to order. The standard BS EN 13706 – Specification for pultruded profiles defines two grades of structural profiles. All Engineered Composites structural profiles with a wall thickness of over 5mm thick meet the higher performance E23 grade while those at 3-5mm wall meets the E17 grade.

GRP Pultruded Structural Profile Product Range
Most pultruded profiles are carried as stock items in 6m lengths for immediate delivery. The stock lengths can be cut to length if required Other sizes, shapes, lengths, colours and resins can be supplied to order with a typical minimum production order of 300m.
At Kingsley Plastics we can supply/hold more than 50 GRP profiles in stock with many others available to order.
The GRP profiles are made by the Pultrusion process in which the glass reinforcement fibre is impregnated with thermosetting resin and pulled through a heated die to produce a fully cured, high strength finished profile.
In response to customer needs, the product range has been expanded to include other products such as GRP grating and flooring products, GRP sheet products for cladding and roofing and GRP faced sandwich panels for transport and other applications.
