Wessex Water Equipment GRP Housings:
The complete GRP housing units, whether delivered in one piece or flat packed, is brought to site by one of our 3 fully owned and equipped Hi-ab craned lorries. On-site assembly, is carried out by our fully trained and CSCS certified engineers, who will erect the unit complete with 316 stainless steel fixing bolts and a weatherproof membrane between the GRP kiosk return bolting flange and the previously prepared concrete base.
Kingsley manufacture GRP Kiosks with acoustic and/or thermal properties added as well as full electrical installation to the latest EEC directives.

Successful completion of the 1 hour BS 476
Part 21 Fire Test for load bearing walls
Kingsley Plastics Ltd have successfully completed and passed the BS 476 Part 21 Fire Test at the Fire Research Centre in Warrington. It is extremely rare for a GRP manufacturer to have their products pass such a test in the industry but Kingsley did with flying colours.
What sets Kingsley apart from other GRP companies is the fact that this test was to the stringent parameters as set out in BS 476 Part 21. Part 21 relates to the structural integrity of such buildings for load bearing walls. Other GRP companies that have passed a 1 hour fire rating, in the main, only do so to the less relevant BS 476 Part 22, for non-load bearing walls. Kingsley supply all products to customers own specifications but would also advise, where possible, that each GRP walk-in housing be manufactured to the most up-to-date & relevant specifications.
As with all GRP housing and GRP buildings, irrespective of size, all GRP walls are load bearing as they themselves carry the weight of the roof of the building. BS 476 Part 21 is the only up to date specification applicable to GRP Housings of all sizes.
